    Being pregnant does not mean you put a stop to your workout routine completely. Exercise during pregnancy is very healthy and beneficial for the mother. You start to feel insomniac, have extreme mood swings and severe pain in back and legs. All these issues can be controlled by keeping exercise in routine.

    Plus, it is also great if you want to come quickly into shape after delivering the baby. However, every pregnancy is different in one or more ways and it is always best to consult your doctor regarding your workout routine. Trampolines are great for exercise and quick uplift of mood. However, you need to consider the following few things before getting on one during your pregnancy:


    1. Did You Exercise before Pregnancy?

    If you have had a proper workout routine, your muscles are quite used to it and such mothers usually have a healthy pregnancy. Therefore, they can safely use a trampoline for exercise as they have a better stamina and balance than those who do not regularly exercise. If you did not have it in routine, you can start it during pregnancy for the duration of 5 minutes to get started. Gradually, increase the time after taking your doctor’s advice.


    1. Safe Use of Trampoline

    You can obviously not hop on a trampoline-like the old days once you are pregnant. However, you can still make good use of it while taking care of a few things. Keep your pace gentle while walking on a trampoline. It will work as a low-impact exercise for you. You may also very gently hop on it keeping your knees bent. It will be like a quick cardio which is good for both mother and the baby. You can also jog and squat on a trampoline while keeping your balance right.


    1. What are the Risks?

    There may be some risks involved in exercising on a trampoline which you must keep in mind before getting on one. You might lose your balance and fall. This risk can be mitigated by having a safety net around your trampoline. Plus, keep hold of a rod nearby for maintaining the balance. Plus, also make sure there is nobody else on the trampoline when you are on it because you have to build your own intensity which is safe for you and your child.


    1. When a Trampoline is Unsafe

    As I mentioned earlier, every pregnancy is different and some are very critical as well. If you have any symptoms of premature labour, it is not safe for you and you must be extra careful. Similarly, those who have high blood pressure during pregnancy may not try exercising on a trampoline. Plus, no matter how healthy or critical your pregnancy is, always consult your doctor before starting any kind of exercise.
