Reproductive And Sexual Health

Reproductive health is not merely the absence of diseases, dysfunctions, infections etc. However, the state of complete mental, emotional and physical well-being in relation to the reproductive system.

According to Wikipedia, Sexual and reproductive health and rights or SRHR is the concept of human rights applied to sexuality and reproduction. Also, it is a combination of four fields that in some contexts are more or less distinct from each other, but less so or not at all in other contexts. Therefore, these four fields are sexual health, sexual rights, reproductive health and reproductive rights. Also, in the concept of SRHR, these four fields are treated as separate but inherently intertwined.

✔ Convention Against Torture.

✔ Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women.

✔ Beijing Platform for Action.


However, in cases where sexual rights are been violated, either that of the female or male reports of such should be made known to the appropriate quarters for immediate disciplinary action.
