    1. That's a great list. Some I knew of and some I didn't. Striking that pineapple is not good for you but I had read that somewhere before.

    2. I was privileged to read your post. and I left a comment. so great to meet you. I’m “following” you. I hope you have a great weekend.

    3. Consulting the OBGYNE is also good practice to know the food that are prohibit. Some pregnant women tend to be more sensitive when it comes to diet.

    4. I am not sure about the pineapple…really? Cigarettes, yes, they're not food, though. I ate meat when I was pregnant, and I ate food, just not the ones that are high in lead content as those can cause delays in brain development.

    5. Though I accept with most, I don't with Papaya & Pineapple. After reading it somewhere I actually consulted my doctor and she said it doesn't have a solid scientific backup.

    6. While I agree to some of the items on the list, I didn't avoid pineapple, meat, cheese, fruit juices, milk or coffee. My kids were born just fine and that diet didn't pose any threat to my pregnancy or to my kid's health.

I think it's important the pregnant women consult their OB-GYNE regularly and also do research. Pregnancy is not the time to diet. So it's not being selfish of the mother if she indulges on any food or drinks so long as it's not health threatening.

    7. These are definitely something you should avoid especially alcohol. I don't think cigarettes should be part of a food list but that's a good reminder too. It should be one of the things to avoid when you're pregnant.

    8. Greta post, really helpful for a lot of people i'm sure. I wasn't aware that we should be avoiding fruit juices too.
