The word ‘FEAR‘ is an element which many people don’t like because you look a lot by being a fearful human being. Though, technically looking at it fear can be seen as a normal thing. A saying in my mother goes as this “A child will feel he is bold enough because he has never faced a fearful thing or circumstance.” Fear differs in term of meaning to each individual. Some see a person who is afraid of doing a basic activity as a coward. As a student, we have many students who are afraid of this particular called Mathematics, they see it a horror or demon, which they normally run away from. When you are afraid of the particular thing, the level, and negativity towards such thing increases. Therefore, do not welcome the habit a coward man.
What really causes or being the source of your fear? Some feel afraid to do some basic task because they think they cannot control it or they might succeed from such task. The ugly feeling keeps you down, tells you not to kick-start the thing. The ugly feeling will be telling you “you cannot do it, do not start it”. For this reason, it is very pertinent for you to manage your fear and show some brave attitude towards achieving your goals and objectives.
I know many people who are afraid to do one thing or others are not also happy. A fearful man will not only lose important and necessary values to be given to him also his identity in his environs because he might be tagged the name “MR COWARD”. Nobody likes a coward, we love and adore a brave and bold man who can lead and fight for us. A man who can speak and defend our interest, For this reason, you must overcome this unwanted and unsuitable feeling called “FEAR”.
The following below are the top seven (10) effective tips to manage your fear.
The first to know is try to get and know the cause or source of your fear. What serves as the impulse for your fear? Try to observe and ask yourself, why are you afraid? What are you afraid for? Ask yourself what will I lose if stay the way? or should I fix out this ugly feeling?
2-TRY NEW CHALLENGE
If truly you want to manage and overcome this feeling, you have tried a new thing. Try a new challenge. As said earlier, fear will tell you, you can’t do it don;t start it. Therefore, bring that jinx, start new a challenge. Believe me, once you start, you have broken the jinx then you are good to go to do what you feel you can’t do.
3- NEVER THINK YOU WILL FAIL
Never think I will fail, just start it. Do be afraid to embark on your dream. Don’ t even be afraid to fail in course of achieving your goals. Failure is a measure to teach where you have made some mistakes in order to perfect the system for a qualitative outcome. However, you should know that the downfall of a man is not the end of his life. Even if you start and fail then you will learn from your mistakes and gain more strength and power to conquer.
4- EAT AND DRINK PROPERLY
Having a good balance diet is a good tip in overcoming your fear. It might sound odd or unbelievable to you but what we are eating and drinking have a huge amount of impact on our mind. You feel relaxed, calm and well-being.
Smile makes you beautiful. A smile gives you hope and trash away fear. Never frown your face, let your language has an impact on your life. No matter the situation, try to keep yourself in a smiling mood and stay positive. A smile is a source of happiness which can drive away the fear that kills your mind and your dream.
6- STAY POSITIVE ALWAYS
Positivity is a key you must try to put on always. Stay positive, throw away that negative mind that tells you can do it. Believe in yourself. Assess and evaluate people that surround you, eliminate or stay away from those that can draw you back to negativity.
7- HOPE FOR THE BEST, PREPARE FOR THE WORST
If there is still hope, there is hope which means everything is possible to achieve. Actions speak louder than words or voice. Prepare yourself for whatsoever you think can happen. This will not make anything look strange to you when they happen.
Finally, courage or boldness does not mean lack oof fear, but it’s just the ability to control our fear. No one is at the 100% level of confidence but the lack of confidence can kill and degrade humanity. Fear is somehow a natural thing but needs to be managed in order to achieve our goals or objectives.
